CHIA EGG RECIPE
1 tablespoon ground chia seeds
3 tablespoons water

Combine chia seeds and water in a small bowl and mix well. Pop in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to thicken up.

BLUEBERRY BANANA CHIA SMOOTHIE
2 tablespoon chia seeds
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder

Pop everything in the blender and blend until thick and creamy. Enjoy!

CHOCOLATE CHERRY CHIA BITES RECIPE
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup dried cherries
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Combine everything in a large bowl and stir until all the ingredients are mixed together.

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the ‘dough’ and roll into a ball. Place on a plate or quarter sheet pan lined with parchment paper and repeat until you have finished all the dough should have 20 balls.

Place in the fridge until firm. Store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container. Enjoy!

  1. I would add that when I buy in bulk or have them stored at home for a long time, sometimes they smell strong. Thats the fatty acids which leave the seed and make it "not that good". When I buy them in a sealed pack, they smell neutral (no smell at all). Once I made a chia pudding and while eating it I noticed the weird smell, couldn´t eat it at all!

  2. I'll probably try in smoothie & baked goods. But has anyone sprinkled on salad as a topping ? I already have two shakers / dredges, one with milled flax seed and the other with nutritional yest. Thinking of making a third for chia seeds. Thoughts ?
