  1. Sorry but Consumer Reports is probably one of THEE few remaining independent testing bodies out there. There is no financial motivation (but maybe you have one though), nor are they going after the "wrong" people as you so said.

    They test just about every and any product out there that is used by "consumers." And overall their reports have held up the test of time.

  2. Marc, what are your personal thoughts on sugar being addicting? As in eating small amounts of "junk food" that's high in sugar and then craving more/wanting to binge on sugary foods?

  3. 10 bugs/square inch is allowed on a head of lettuce in the states. There are some extremely tiny bugs out there. Might not be accurate, heard it a long time ago but the though on it was that even though it sounds like alot, most other countries don't control their food as strictly even though some people might think they do. So, why complain about having to clean your produce before eating it? It's not as bad as it could be and you could be washing off someone else's stink palm. : /
