  1. As a person who doesn't do caffeine and has a background in nutrition I have to take a good quality multivitamin/mineral or my energy lags. This was true even before I started exercising, but it's extra true now.

  2. Glutamine is a LIFESAVER!!! I take it in capsule form before a work out and I add an extra scoop of glutamine powder in my protein powder after. The capsule doesn't interfere with my work out by being on my stomach like a powder would. I have male friends at work who come in talking about how sore they are because they just came from the gym. I ask if they're supplementing with glutamine. "No." I guess the pain is a badge of honor that they get to wear at work? Oh, my God, just take the glutamine!

  3. Hi Jordan, is there any chance you could do a follow up to this video discussing how your supplement use has changed now that you've gone for a leaner diet? Would be really interested to know what's changed and why.

  4. How often do you take the BCAAs? I’ve started on supplements and I get my powders without any sugar or flavor added. Doc has me on a high fat diet so I’m doing whole milk, protein powder, bcaa, and a tablespoon of peanut butter in my shake, but I also do a bcaa lemonade before my workout.

  5. Do you have any recommendations for a vegan based protein? I have been using Vega vanilla protein and i like it enough but im looking for other options (potentially that taste better).

So there's a newer company called Unico Nutrition that has a bunch of different protein and supplements and a few of my friends have recommended it to me since they have so many awesome protein powder flavors. If you've heard of them, what do you think about their supplements? Are they worth getting or not really?

  7. when you take protein powder direct after a workout you wont gain any muscle mass because during the wo you used all your energy source to gain ATP and the protein in the shake will go direct inzo the ATP process not into your muscels

  9. I started taking weight loss supplements earlier this month. Haven't really seen the weight loss part of it, granted I'm still trying to work on the food side of things, but what the supplements say they do, actually work. I'm going to be adding in a pre workout drink next week but it almost sounds like I need to do protein too. The weight loss struggle. 🙁
