Many renowned people such as Plato and Gandhi were vegetarians. It is a well known fact, that a high protein vegetarian diet is much healthier than a non vegetarian one. Many studies have proved that vegetarian food is extremely healthy for mankind.

High protein vegetarian foods have a number of advantages. Regular consumption of these foods reduces blood pressure, diabetes, kidney stones, gall bladder stones, asthma and cancer. People, who eat vegetarian food, remain fitter throughout their lives. Their life span is also longer than those who consume non vegetarian food.

# Teenage boys and most men need 3 servings per day, amounting to seven ounces. For children aged between 2-6 years, most women, and some older people, 2 daily servings amounting to 5 ounces is advised. For older children and teen age girls, two Daily servings, amounting to 6 ounces should do.
